# Echo Park Rising 2026 App Privacy Policy

Echo Park Rising (“EPR,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides the Echo Park Rising 2026 iPhone app (the “App”). This policy explains how the App handles information.
## Summary
The App does not require an account. EPR does not use the App to sell personal information, track people across apps or websites, serve advertising, or build advertising profiles. The current version does not contain third-party advertising or analytics software.
## Information handled on your device
**Location.** If you grant location permission, the App uses your current location to show your position on the festival map, estimate distances to festival locations, and request walking directions. Location access is optional and is requested only while you use the App. EPR and Project Nightfall Studio do not receive or store your precise location. You can change location permission at any time in iPhone Settings.
**Saved artists, plan, and preferences.** Artists you save, your festival plan, map settings, and similar preferences are stored locally on your device. They are not associated with an account and are not sent to EPR or Project Nightfall Studio.
**Reminders.** Saved-act reminders are scheduled and stored locally by iOS. The current version does not upload your saved artists or plan in order to provide these reminders.
## Festival content and internet connections
The App includes an offline festival guide and may connect to content infrastructure operated for EPR by Project Nightfall Studio and its service providers to retrieve updated public festival information and artist images. Like any internet request, a content request necessarily includes an IP address and basic connection information so the requested content can be delivered and protected from abuse. EPR and Project Nightfall Studio do not use this information for advertising, cross-app tracking, or user profiling.
## Apple services
The App uses Apple technologies including Core Location, MapKit, Apple Maps, and local notifications. Apple may process information needed to provide these system services. EPR does not control information Apple collects for its own services. Apple’s privacy policy is available at https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/.
## Sharing and service providers
EPR does not sell personal information. EPR does not share App information for targeted advertising. Infrastructure providers may process limited technical information only as needed to deliver festival content, maintain service security, or provide Apple system services. We require service providers acting on our behalf to protect information at least as described in this policy and to use it only to provide their services.
## Retention and deletion
Saved artists, plans, preferences, and locally scheduled reminders remain on your device until you change them or delete the App. Deleting the App removes this locally stored App information. EPR and Project Nightfall Studio do not keep a server-side copy of your saved artists, plan, or precise location in the current version.
Technical information used to service a content request is kept only as long as necessary to complete and secure that request. If a short-lived security record must be retained to investigate abuse or an incident, it is deleted when no longer necessary and no later than 30 days unless a longer period is required by law.
## Your choices and requests
You may decline location and notification permission and continue to use the festival guide. You may revoke either permission in iPhone Settings. You may remove saved artists within the App, and you may delete all locally stored App information by deleting the App.
For questions, privacy requests, or a request to delete any information you believe EPR has received from you, email info@epr.la. Because the current App has no accounts and does not upload your saved plan or precise location, EPR normally has no account record or server-side plan to identify or delete.
## Children
The App is a general-audience festival guide. EPR does not knowingly collect personal information from children through the App.
## Changes to this policy
We may update this policy if the App or our information practices change. We will post the updated policy at this same URL and change the effective date above. Material changes will be disclosed as required by law and Apple’s rules.
