Echo Park Rising is a neighborhood event in it’s 7th year that focuses on the music, creativity, diversity and small businesses of Echo Park. There are multiple stages and activities throughout the weekend located on the main routes of Sunset Blvd, Glendale Blvd, Alvarado Avenue, Echo Park Avenue and beyond.
Echo Park Rising is FREE for all, but you can upgrade your access by purchasing a VIP ticket (available soon!). VIP passes are offered with the following privileges: Access to VIP viewing areas, skip the line, easy bar access + goodie grab bag (while supplies last).
Thursday: NO Main Stage; activities from 7pm – business close.
Friday, Saturday: Doors at 2pm. The Main Stage off of Liberty Street (behind Taix) music starts at 3pm and has a 10pm curfew; additional events throughout the neighborhood will go later.
Sunday: NO Main Stage; activities from noon – 10pm.
Street parking is available in Echo Park. Metered parking lots are located on Logan Ave and also Lemoyne Ave. As well as the Citi Bank building loc. Carpool, ride a bike, take public transportation, and never drive drunk.
Yes, it is encouraged. If a venue reaches capacity then we will have a line-up and let people in as others leave.
Echo Park Rising is All-Ages although certain areas are 21+ (usually where alcohol is served). We have activities for all walks of life and all ages.
Pets are NOT allowed in venues that serve food or drink.
Glass bottles, outside alcohol/beverages, illegal drugs, liquids in glass or plastic, umbrellas, chairs, blankets/sheets, bikes, marking pens, weapons, knives. Please feel free to socialize the fun (@echoparkrising // #echoparkrising) but professional video, audio and photo equipment is prohibited inside the venues. Please note that if a security officer or festival staff member identifies any other contraband deemed not suitable for Echo Park Rising you will either be asked to return that contraband to your car or leave the festival. Be cool.
Echo Park offers a plethora of amazing food to choose from, you won’t starve. Echo Park Rising will also feature a few food trucks in our Vendor Village.
There will be several full service bars within the venues. You may not bring alcohol into the venue and consumption of alcohol is not permitted outside of licensed establishments.
Echo Park Rising is a ‘rain or shine’ event.
If you require first aid assistance, please speak with a staff member and they will direct you to the first aid area. If it is an emergency, please call 911.
Lost items should be turned into The Echo box office, check there and feel free to call the box office during office hours after the event.
